'Red Blog Circle'

RED Makes Christmas BEAUTIFUL!!!

My photographer friends (22 of us, to be exact)  and I decided to do Blogs about the color Red.  I thought about the color red and I thought about the pictures I might use to create the blog.  I looked around my house and noticed RED all over the place!  Lucky for me, it is the middle of December, and red is everywhere!!!  I sat one night, enjoying my Christmas Tree and all of the beautiful ornaments with all of the twinlking lights and colors.  Suddenly, I noticed that I have A LOT of RED on my Christmas Tree.  Ornaments with a lot of RED, ornaments with a hint of RED.  RED EVERYWHERE!!!  So, this is my BLOG about RED...I can't imagine Christmas without RED.  Thank you for the simple, but not so simple, things in LIFE such as the color RED.  :)   Merry Christmas Everyone!  Eileen

I'm excited to check out all of my friends Blogs to see what they've created by photographing RED.  Follow our BLOG circle by starting with my friend Brandi at

Make sure to sit, relax, and enjoy the moments of Christmas!  Don't forget to turn on the Christmas music, too!

I love looking at all of the ornamnents from years past...

I remember decorating our tree with REAL candy canes when I was a little girl in the 60's!  :)

Friends and Great recipes...all a part of the holidays.

don't remember where or when this Santa was purchased, but I love him!  :)

My mother gave this ornament to my daughter in 1986 when she was only 2 years old.  For quite a few years, she would hold the ornament in her hands and say 'why doesn't this little girl have a home?'  It would make me smile and I would say 'she has a home with us!'  So sweet...our memories.  :)

Ater being together for 7 years, Matt asked me to marry him on Christmas Eve 2007 with family and friends gathered around.  It was a beautiful night and I will cherish the memory of that night forever.

A cute ornament from my kids Grandma!  One for my son Jimmy and one for my daughter Jenna!  :)

We always loved hanging our Santa on our tree.  He is around 25 years old now!!!  :)

This says it all...What would Christmas be without love!  xo

My daughter, Jenna, was born in 1984 and the name Jenna was not a very common one at that time.  She always looked for items with her name on it and she was thrilled when we found this one!!!  Now, her name is all over the place.

A sweet little Angel ornament from my mother.  xo

I made this ornament for my son when he was 6 years old! He's now turning 30 years old in February!   xo

Santa's all over our tree...

I think of my friend Gail everytime I hang this ornament!  We've had soooooo much fun over the years!!!

Wishing everyone all the best for the holidays and the upcoming year.

This Santa was on a gift that I received.  The ribbon is still attached.  :)

My mom always hung apples on her Christmas Tree...I took this one from her tree and now it's on my tree every year.  xo

MY 1st home!!!

Special ornaments from childhood!

I wanted to be a teacher from the time I was 7 years old.  I returned to school when my kids were teenagers and I completed my degree!  I did it...I became an elementary school teacher!!!  :)

Joyce is one of my sweetest and closest friends!  Thank you for this ornament Joycie!  (My name broke off, but at least I have Joyce's name in the RED heart!)  Friends forever!!!

Merry Christmas to all...

I LOVE SNOWMEN!!!

I think we all know how Santa feels on December 26th!!!  :)
