Danielle and Jameson ~ Our 'Romantic Couple'

Danielle and Jameson will be married on September 5, 2010. We feel very honored that we had the opportunity to do a photo shoot with them and to be a part of their memories. Danielle was the winner of our August "Romantic Couple" Contest.

We were hoping the winner of the contest would choose Deerfield Beach as the place for the shoot (such a beautiful beach), and we were pleasantly surprised to find out that Danielle and Jameson got engaged on Deerfield Beach and that is exactly where they wanted to do the shoot!!! :)

As you will see in the photos, they are such an amazing couple. They were naturals in front of the camera and they had fun with all of our ideas! We were thrilled that they both were willing to go into the ocean, play, be silly, and be Romantic! Thank you Danielle and Jameson for allowing us to be a part of this special time in your life. May you always have wonderful memories of our 'Day at the Beach'.

My Sister Joanie

It is often said that the mechanic's wife drives a clunker and the shoemaker's kids have no shoes!  Well now I can add the photographer's sister has no pictures to that list!  I took pics of my sister, Joanie, months ago and kept promising her that I would finish editing her pictures.  Finally, I can say I'm DONE!  Here are a few sample pics of my beautiful 'baby' sister Joanie.  I love you and Thank You for your patience!  xoxo

Nyah and Huxley

Let me introduce you to Nyah and her little brother Huxley.  Nyah is 5 3/4 yrs old and Huxley is 2 3/4 years old.  Age is a very important thing when you are young!  When I first met the two of them, we took a moment to get to know each other.  When I asked Huxley how old he was, he said very proudly (with fingers in the air!) "I'm 2!"  Sister, Nyah, quickly - but politely, corrected him and said "Huxley, you are Three and three quarters and I am Five and three quarters."  Oh how I remember doing that as a kid.  Childhood is a wonderful time!!!

I feel as though I have known Nyah and Huxley since they were both babies.  My daughter has been babysitting for both of them for the past three years.  I've heard all the cute stories of how Nyah would put on 'Fashion Shows' for Jenna (my daughter) and how Huxley would cuddle up next to her on the couch and cheer as Nyah showed off all of her beautiful outfits for the two of them!  They are both such sweet and polite children, and I had such a great time taking their pictures.  They are beautiful kids!

Sara, Carl, Ayden and Dawson

We met Sara through one of our m.e. photography contests and we were so happy to get the chance to meet her and her beautiful family.  We met her husband Carl and their two young sons ~ Ayden (2 yrs old) and Dawson (6 months old) ~ beautiful boys!  I think Ayden had the best time while we were there taking his pics!  We shot some of the pictures on Mom and Dad's bed, and Ayden was thrilled to bounce and jump all over the bed!  Mom reminded him that he usually wasn't allowed to do this ~ but it was picture time!  Then he was promised his ice cream cone (quite a few times) during the shoot.  We told him to smile, to sit by his baby brother, do this and do that, and we kept saying "after we're done, you'll get your ice cream cone!"  This worked magic!  Well, wouldn't you know it ~ once we were through shooting and we were all packed up and saying our Good-byes, Ayden said "where's my ice cream?"  So cute!!!  Kids don't forget the promises that we make to them!  He enjoyed his ice cream cone and we snapped a few extra pics!!!  :)
Then, there was baby Dawson!  Sweetest blue eyes on a beautiful baby boy!  He smiled. and smiled, and smiled...as you will see in his precious pictures.  He was an absolute Angel!
Thank you, Sara and Carl, for allowing us the opportunity to get to know your family and to capture moments you will cherish forever!  Our babies grow up so quickly and we hope you will look back on this day, and these photos, with happy and loving memories!
